Jeremy Kivel threw 96 mph last week at Spring HS. Spring has a history of producing pitchers who throw the mid to high 90 heat. Red Sox Josh Beckett, DiamondBacks Sam Demel and now Jeremy Kivel who sits at 93 off the mound and will pump it up the mid 90's.
The 6'2, 205 lb. RHP guaranteed he would hit 96 before he even began to throw. He is a high powered athlete with a mixed martial arts background and even ran a 6.67 60 yard dash.
